MP3-Check is a small but useful application that allows you to check the quality of the MP3 files stored in a selected directory. The program checks the information stored on each file including the ID3v1 and ID3v2 information, bit rate, sample rate, channel mode, and gain volume.
To operate the program you first need to select the parameters you want the program to check. Then you need to select the directory where the MP3 files are located. Next, the program will automatically scan the MP3 content showing the resume information such as total playing time and used space on disk. Finally, all the information results will be shown in a tree view grouped by category. So you can expand one of each category and view the MP3 files content. Files will include their path.
You can select an MP3 file and perform some actions by right clicking on it: you can play the MP3 file with your default player; add the file to a temporary playlist; move the selected file to another destination folder; delete the selected file; and switch the view of the information of the MP3 files’ actual directory.
The program has some configurable options; you can select an external ID3 tag tool, bit and sample rate tool, gain volume tool, and more.
